Massive Pro-Palestinian Rallies Sweep European Cities

Pro-Palestinian activists gathered in major European cities, including Munich and Berlin in Germany, and Turin in Italy, for large-scale rallies under the slogan “Criticizing Israel is not anti-Semitism.”
Demonstrators also called for a boycott of the Zionist regime and an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, which has endured 13 months of Israeli bombings.
Thousands of demonstrators gathered Saturday in Stockholm to protest the occupying regime’s genocidal campaign in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, condemning Western governments for supplying weapons to the regime despite civilian casualties.
The rally, held in the Odenplan area, was organized by several civil society groups and drew 2,000 participants.
Protesters expressed solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon, criticizing Western nations for complicity in Israeli aggression.
Karl Kjellin, a Swedish activist, slammed the regime for committing genocide in Gaza and denounced Western leaders for continuing arms supplies.
Arguing that both major U.S. political parties support the Zionist regime, Kjellin told Anadolu that nothing will change after the U.S. elections.
He said the regime’s atrocities in the region will continue since the U.S. ensures the continuation of arms shipments to the Zionist regime.
Protesters gathered outside the German Embassy in Dublin to support Palestine and condemn increasing pressure on pro-Palestinian groups in Germany.
Demonstrators criticized Germany’s backing of the Zionist regime’s policies, claiming it violates fundamental rights and suppresses free expression.
Jacob Woolf, secretary of Jews for Palestine Ireland, urged the Irish government to pressure Germany to ensure peaceful protests remain a right.
A “vocal protest” was organized in Istanbul on Saturday to “break the silence against Israel’s massacres in Gaza.”
Protestors marching with Turkish and Palestinian flags chanted against the Zionist regime and the U.S., while using drums, bells, whistles and whistles.
Police detained multiple pro-Palestine activists during a rally in Berlin on Saturday as demonstrators began lighting torches under a railway bridge in the Western capital.
Footage from the event captured hundreds of protesters marching in solidarity with Palestinians, voicing their opposition to ongoing attacks on Gaza and Germany’s arms supply to the regime. Many carried banners with slogans such as ‘Stop the Genocide in Gaza’ and ‘Stop Arming Israel,’ emphasizing their call for action.
The footage also revealed police intervening to detain several protesters after the torches were ignited under the bridge.
