BEIRUT (Dispatches) -- 
Hezbollah on Friday launched a series of heavy strikes on Israel’s strategic military positions, amid the occupying entity’s intensified aggression in southern Lebanon and ongoing attacks on Palestinians in Gaza.
Hezbollah announced in separate statements that it targeted with guided missiles a technical system at the Ramia site and achieved a direct hit, which led to its destruction.
The resistance group said it also targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers inside the Hadab Yaron site with appropriate weapons.
The Lebanese media reports in southern Lebanon confirmed that direct fire had been detected from Lebanon towards Israeli military targets in the vicinity of the Ramia and Hadab Yaron sites.
Late on Thursday, Hezbollah confirmed targeting an anti-drone radar system at one of the Israeli regime’s strategic bases last week.
The group published the footage of the group’s targeting of an anti-drone radar system in Al-Abbad outpost in the northern part of the occupied territories.
The attack was conducted on July 19 with an explosive-laden drone on Al-Abbad outpost, which also accommodates the Israeli regime’s spying devices and technical equipment.
Earlier in the day, the Lebanese resistance movement said in separate statements that it had targeted with a swarm of attack drones the Israeli artillery battalion 411 of the Fire Brigade 288, striking the positions of the regime’s officers and soldiers.
The aerial attack, which Hezbollah said was carried out in support of Palestinians in Gaza, achieved “accurate hits,” and caused an unspecified number of injuries.
Hezbollah also targeted buildings used by the occupation forces in the Shtula and Manara settlements with appropriate weapons “in response to the enemy’s attacks on steadfast southern villages.”
The resistance group said in one of its statements that the Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills was struck by rocket weapons, which led to “achieving a direct hit.”
Hezbollah also announced that its air defense units “launched anti-aircraft missiles at enemy warplanes within Lebanese airspace in the south, forcing them to retreat and withdraw behind the Lebanese borders with occupied Palestine.”
The Lebanese resistance movement and Israel have been exchanging deadly fire since early October last year, shortly after the regime launched a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip following a surprise operation by its resistance groups.
