“Wa Laylatal Qadr wa Hajja Baytikal-Haraam wa Qatlan fi Sabeelika fa waffiq lana.”

(Enable us to witness the Night of Ordainment and to perform the Hajj of Your Sacred House, and to attain martyrdom in Your path.”

The above phrase, as part of the supplications of Ramadhan, is recited daily in this blessed month, especially during the Grand Nights of Ordainment (Qadr), by the dedicated followers of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and the Imams of his Immaculate Household, the Ahl al-Bayt.

The All-Merciful Lord does grant the sincere beseechers at least one of the above-mentioned entreaties, while the status of those attaining all three wishes culminating in martyrdom, is definitely more exalted than others, with the Divine Promise of success for their mission and a terrible punishment for their killers.

The most recent achievers of this triple honour are Brigadier General Haj Mohammad Reza Zahedi and his deputy General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, along with five of their Iranian compatriots and six Syrian colleagues who were martyred on Sunday April 1 during a targeted terrorist airstrike on the Islamic Republic Consulate in Damascus by the illegitimate Zionist entity.

Their departure from the mortal world occurred on Ramadhan 21, the morning following the earnest prayers and supplications of the Grand Night of Ordainment and on the martyrdom anniversary of Prophet Muhammad’s (SAWA) First Infallible Heir, Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (AS) – the Immortal Victor of the Battle of Khaibar in 7 AH (629 AD) that cleansed Arabia of the murderous plots against Islam of the ever-rebellious Israelites in league with the pagan Arabs.

All this indicates that very soon from their lofty mansions in Heaven these martyrs will witness the humiliating vengeance to befall the dastardly perpetrators of the latest Zionist crime whose destination is the eternal inferno of Hell. 

In other words, the end of Usurper Israel is near and no amount of American wealth and American-European weapons will delay the wiping out of the cobweb called Zionism from the map of West Asia.

Almost a decade ago, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution had predicted the end of Israel in less than 25 years, but this does not mean the Zionist entity has 15 more years of respite to try to avert the inevitable by repeating its ongoing holocaust in Gaza in other parts of the region in a bid to break the indomitable spirit of the Axis of Resistance.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in his statement yesterday while condemning the infringement of Syria’s sovereignty and the violation of all international rules on the immunity of diplomatic missions, even during wartime, has made it clear:

“By God’s Will, this evil entity will be punished and we will make them regret this and other crimes.”

Justice has its own course and will certainly seal the fate of the enemies of humanity, whether the Zionists, the Americans, the traitors, the terrorists, and all others shedding innocent blood.

This means, the cowardly killers of the people of Gaza and of the other parts of the world, especially the assassins of Martyr Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandis, should not take comfort that the promised vengeance has not yet struck them. 

It will most surely strike them, thanks to the invincible spirit of Jihad (striving in the way of God) and Shahada (martyrdom).
