DUBAI (Dispatches) – A local cargo ship of apparently, dhow type, loaded with 195 cars, mostly Mercedes, was engulfed in flames in Dubai port on Friday.
The ship was to set sail for Nishtun Port, Gulf of Aden. The dhow was owned by an Indian.
No data was found in the in the United Arab Emirates’ databases about the ship. The dhow most probably is registered only with regional authorities.
