November 4 is a red-letter day in the history of Iran. It has remained fresh for the past 45 years ever since on the 13 of the Iranian month of Aban students following the path of the Father of the Islamic Revolution stormed the so-called US embassy in Tehran and exposed it to the world as the centre of espionage and intrigue against the whole region.

This revolutionary move on the anniversaries of two other important events in the recent history of Iran nipped in the bud American plots against the newly founded Islamic Republic.

On November 4 or Aban 13 in the previous year (1978) on the orders of the US the puppet Shah’s forces had martyred and wounded several students at Tehran university protesting peacefully against domestic suppression and American hegemony.

On this same day in 1964, the Pahlavi potentate had banished from Iran Imam Khomeini (RA) on Washington’s orders – little knowing that the Sage of the Age will return in resounding triumph 15 years later (1979) to cast into the dustbin of history the rootless British-installed and American-supported regime.

Iran’s asserting of its independence and regaining of its regional role to help the oppressed break the shackles of oppression, including the struggle of the Palestinian people to liberate their Zionist occupied homeland, alarmed the US and usurper Israel and fueled their animosity against Iran.

This explains the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the US-Zionist plot to unleash a holocaust on Lebanon, and the s underway to subject Lebanon, and Israel’s audacity to strike Iran.

The Islamic Republic, however, is determined to deliver a smashing blow to the Zionist entity and crush the evil plots of its terrorist godfather Israel, since the future belongs to the Muslim people of the region and not to usurpers and intruders.

This was evident during the nationwide rallies in Tehran yesterday, which according to the Iranian calendar was the 13th of the Iranian month ofAban.

In Sunday’s huge rally in Tehran in front of what was the US den of spies, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami made it clear:

“Enemy Number One (the US) of the Iranian nation and its rabid dog the terrorist (Zionist) entity is hereby warned that by the Grace of God the Islamic Resistance Front and its courageous combatants maintaining the upper hand in the military field, will give a teeth-breaking response to the axis of evil.”

He was confident of triumphantly overcoming the enemy “with no fear of the threats and sabre-rattling of the thugs ruling Washington and Tel Aviv, who are source of all crimes and atrocities across the world and are inching toward their downfall.”
