TEHRAN – Navab Nassirshalal was named as the new head coach of Iran national weightlifting team.
The 33-year-old coach replaced Saeid Alihosseini who stepped down as coach of Iran in late January.
Nassirshalal won a gold medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Iran will participate in the 2023 Asian Weightlifting Championships in Jinju, South Korea.
