TEHRAN (Honaronline) – Nowruz is a
common heritage of Iran and Tajikistan, which can be the focus of tourism between the people of the two countries, said First Secretary of the Tajikistan Embassy in Tehran Marufjon Abdurahmonov.
Speaking in am meeting on the sidelines of Tehran International Exhibition of Tourism, he said, “We and Iranians have not yet benefited from our common history and civilization,” .
Abdurahmonov added: “Undoubtedly, we will make more progress together and in interaction with each other.”
In the meeting, Reza Rasouli, the mayor of Rezvanshahr in northern Iranian province of Gilan asked for paving the ground for sisterhood of his city with one of the cities of Tajikistan.
