Asia Society in New York to Screen Narrow Red Line
TEHRAN -- The Asia Society in New York, a non-profit organization that focuses on educating the world about Asia, will screen Iranian documentary ‘Narrow Red Line’.
Directed by Farzad Khoshdast, the film is about a group of juvenile offenders in a Juvenile Re-habitation and Correction Center, who decide to rehearse and perform a play with the help of a few trainers.
So, if they manage to perform their play at the theater festival, they would be able to get out of prison for one day. And this could be a chance for some of them to break out on that very day.
‘Narrow Red Line’ has gone on screen and won some awards and nominations at different international film festivals.
Farhad Aslani, Hengameh Qaziani, Amir Dejakam, Toumaj Danesh-Behzadi, Afshin Hashemi, Yasser Khaseb, and Arash Absalan star in the film.
The film will go on the New York screen from April 29 to May 2 as a part of a program titled ‘So You Think You Know Iran’, which began on April 1.
