Iran Offers Condolences to South Africa Over Floods
TEHRAN – The foreign minister of Iran on Tuesday offered his sympathy to South Africa, where more than 440 people have died and thousands have been left homeless following torrential rains that triggered floods and mudslides last week.
In a message to South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Naledi Pandor, Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian expressed sympathy over the damages caused by the floods that have killed and displaced hundreds of people.
