TEHRAN – Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Muhammad Hussein Baqeri will travel to Pakistan on Tuesday for talks with senior military and political authorities of the neighboring state.
Heading a high-ranking military delegation, Major General Baqeri will visit at the formal invitation of Chief of the Army Staff of Pakistan Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa. In an effort to strengthen Iran’s military-defense diplomacy, the general will hold meetings with top Pakistani political, military and security officials.
