Iran’s Language Teaching Journal Maintains First Rank
TEHRAN (Dispatches) – Iranian Journal of Language Teaching Research (IJLTR) has yet maintained first ranking in the Scimago Journal & Country Rank, Urmia University chancellor said.
The journal from Urmia University has saved its Q1 ranking, said the chancellor of
the university.
The journal with 0.614 impact factor stands first position among 134 journals.
Three other Iranian journals, named Journal of Research in Applied Linguistics, Language Related Research and Physiology and Pharmacology stand third to fifth, respectively.
Urmia University attended CWTS Leiden Ranking along with 35 other universities and institutions of the country recently.
“The Scimago Journal & Country Rank is a publicly available portal that includes the journals and country scientific indicators developed from the information contained in the Scopus database (Elsevier) ”, the website says
“These indicators can be used to assess and analyze scientific domains. Journals can be compared or analyzed separately.”
