TEHRAN -- The CEO of Karoon Petrochemical Company said Alireza Sedighizadeh has said that up to 17 products are being produced in this complex, and the company sat to increase the capacity and variety of products to 35 items.
According to the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), Sedighizadeh, during a visit by Abdul Ali Ali Asgari, the PGPIC CEO, to Karoon Petrochemical Plant, referred to the steps taken by the company to increase products and introduce new grades.
He stated: “Karoon Petrochemical Plant, which once produced one item, today produces 17 ones and has the capacity to increase the variety of products to 35.”
Referring to the dependence of the complex on 9 other complexes for feedstock, he said that the company’s strategy is to reduce dependence on other complexes and reduce the risk of feedstock interruption.
