Siraf Pars Port Exports 345,000 Tons of LPG
TEHRAN - The operator of Siraf Pars port Payam Motamed has announced the export of 345,000 tons of liquefied natural gas from the refineries of site 2 of South Pars by January 20.
According to Pars Oil and Gas Company Motamed referred to the start of operation of Siraf Pars port Pars, and said: “Since the beginning of loading and exporting Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Siraf Pars port, 12 ships have been loaded and a total of 345,000 tons of propane and butane gas worth more than $210 million have been loaded and exported.”
The official added this terminal has the capacity to receive LPG and sulfur products produced by Kangan refineries and petroleum refineries located in Pars 2, said: “500,000 tons of liquefied natural gas is supplied through LPG loading docks of the port.”
Plans Under Way to Collect 10 mcf/d of Gas From Haftkol Field
And also, the CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) Alireza Daneshi said that over 10 million cubic feet of associated petroleum gases from the oil facilities of Haftkol field will be collected and injected into the reservoir with the start of the operation of the skid-mounted gas collection station.
During a visit to the Haftkol field oil optimization project, Daneshi said on Wednesday: “With the full launch of this project, about 10 million cubic feet of gas will be collected daily from Haftkol oil facilities and will be injected into the reservoir.”
He added: “In addition to injecting gas into the Haftkol reservoir and providing its pressure, this work will prevent environmental pollution and the loss of national capital.”
