Iran’s ‘Pass’ On Way to U.S. Sunshine
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian short flick ‘Pass’ has been competing at the fifth edition of the Sunshine City Film Festival in the U.S.
Directed by Elika Abdollahi, the short film revolves around a poor woman and shows that not everyone is trustworthy.
“I tried to say that not everyone is predictable, even those we have trust in,” the director has said in a statement on her film.
‘Pass’ is starring Mina Hamedani, Hessam Hosseini, Soheil Mirza, and Ebrahim Barzideh.
The short flick has previously participated in the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, the Imagine This Women’s International Film Festival, the Lost River Fest, and the Central Florida Film Festival, all in the U.S.
The Sunshine City Film Festival aims to create big opportunities for filmmakers and film lovers from all around the world. The festival provides a space for independent filmmakers to showcase their films and shine on the screen.
The 2022 edition of the event started on January 8 and is undergoing till January 17.
