Leader Praises Late Iranian Ambassador to Yemen
TEHRAN – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Wednesday hailed Iran’s Ambassador to Sanaa, Hassan Irloo, who passed away from the corornavirus after his evacuation to the Islamic Republic for treatment was delayed by Saudi Arabia. “I offer my condolences and congratulations to the family of Mr. Hassan Irloo, may God have mercy on him, on the martyrdom-like passing of the mujahid and efficient ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Yemen to his family, and to his friends and colleagues in the various stages of his long-term struggle. His honorable record is a collection of political struggles and diplomatic and social mobilization efforts. His two brothers have been martyred before him. May God have mercy on this jihadist brother and his patient, insightful and devoted family,” the Leader said in his message.
