TEHRAN – Half of the 32 provinces in Iran on Friday reported zero new deaths from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, as the country marked one of the lowest daily fatalities in the past nine months.
Over the past 24 hours, 2,196 new cases of COVID-19 infection were reported in Iran, 341 of who were hospitalized, the Health Ministry said. It put the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 130,992 after 46 patients lost their lives in past 24 hours.
