ALGIERS (MEMO) – An editorial in the Algerian Army magazine, the mouthpiece of the military in the country, says Morocco is escalating hostilities towards its North African neighbor by allying with the Zionist regime. Military and security cooperation with the occupying regime, it said, also proves Rabat’s insistence on betraying and conspiring against the Palestinian cause. “The Moroccan elite are doing this with the aim of liquidating the Palestinian cause in the service of Zionism. The evil neighbor not only sold the [Palestinian] cause, but its treason has also reached the point of allowing the Zionist entity to establish a foothold in the region, which until recently remained taboo,” the magazine added. “They are trying to appear before the international community as peaceful that is not hostile to the Zionist entity, despite its violation of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.”
