TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian congratulated Daniel Ortega on his reelection as the president of Nicaragua, hoping for the promotion of ties between Tehran and Managua in all fields.
Hailing the overwhelming support that the “resisting and revolutionary” people of Nicaragua have given to Ortega and his Sandinista alliance, Amir-Abdollahian expressed hope for expansion of friendly and brotherly relations between Iran and Nicaragua in all fields of mutual interest.
