Palestine Family Hands Over Money Left by WWI Turkey Soldier


ANKARA (MEMO) – A Palestinian family from the West Bank city of Nablus officially handed over to Turkey money left by a Turkish soldier during WWI, Wafa news agency has reported. A prominent Palestinian family of Nablus, the al-Aloul family, handed over the money to Turkish Consulate General in Al-Quds Ahmet Riza Demirer. The family turned over the money in an official ceremony at the headquarters of the Nablus Governorate. Nablus Governor Ibrahim Ramadan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Amal Jado and other political figures attended the ceremony.
