Azerbaijani, Iranian FMs Hold Talks
TEHRAN – The foreign ministers of Iran and Azerbaijan on Saturday agreed to expand relations between the two neighbors, denouncing unfriendly attempts to take advantage of misunderstanding between them. In a telephone conversation with his Azeri counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian highlighted close and brotherly relations between Tehran and Baku. He said the two sides managed to clear up misunderstandings that arose in the recent months. “Now we in both countries can move towards the expansion of mutual cooperation,” he said.
