IME Weekly Trade Tops $440mn

TEHRAN - The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Saturday announced that around $440mn of various commodities weighting over 1,711,000 tonnes were traded in its domestic trading and exports halls in the past working week.
The IME said that over 1,369,000 tonnes tons of metal and mineral products, including 1,000,050 tonnes of cement, 302,097 tonnes of steel, 2,380 tonnes of copper, 4,475 tonnes of aluminum, 18 tonnes of precious metals concentrate, 265 tonnes of zinc, 16 kg of gold bars and 20,000 tonnes of sponge iron with the total value of $216mn were traded in the IME domestic and exports halls in the last week.
And also the report added over 331,457 tonnes of various oil and petrochemical products, including included 98,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 74,906 tonnes of bitumen, 81,996 tonnes of polymeric products, 34,967 tonnes of chemicals, 34,000 tonnes of lube cut, 4,009 tonnes of base oil and 3,800 tonnes of sulfur with value of more than $217 million traded in the IME domestic and exports halls in the last week.
Last but not least was the IME’s side market with 11,291 tonnes of commodities traded on it.
