Iranian Nanotech Products Hit Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan Markets
TEHRAN - Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council (INIC) announced that 41 countries have demanded Iranian nanotechnology products, with Iraq, Turkey, and Afghanistan being the largest importers of the products with aggregate value of 15 million dollars.
Expansion of export programs by INIC in recent years have paved the ground for Iranian nanotechnology products and services to enter the global market.
After the aforementioned countries, Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Republic of Azerbaijan are the next largest destinations of Iranian nanotechnology products and services export.
Exchange rate fluctuation and export barriers related to sanctions in recent years have led to a decrease in export of Iranian nanotechnology products, consisting 6% of the entire nanotechnology market of Iran.
Construction has the biggest share (48%) in Iran’s nanotechnology exports with 6.1 million dollars in value.
Optoelectronic with 23%, health products with 7% and textile with 6.5 % lie in the next places in nanotechnology exports.
