NIDC, Local Firm Ink Drilling Agreement
TEHRAN – The National
Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) and SeaLand Engineering & Well Services have signed an agreement for the supply of two heavy drilling rigs to be used in the development plan of Bibi Hakimeh Oilfield.
According to the public relations of the National Iranian Drilling Company, the agreement to supply these rigs and their related accessories was signed in the presence of officials and executives from NIDC and SeaLand Company.
The agreement, which will be implemented in line with the contract for the maintenance and enhancement of production of Bibi Hakimeh Oilfield, as one of the projects related to the development plan of 28 oil fields in the operational area of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC).
Based on the deal, the necessary equipment will be supplied inside and outside the well with an estimated duration of 400 and 450 days for drilling and completion of 6 wells and providing a number of ancillary drilling services.
At the signing ceremony of this agreement, Seyed Abolfazl Dehkordi, member of the board of directors of SeaLand Company, said: “Continuous cooperation and use of facilities, equipment, technical knowledge and services and experienced specialists of National Iranian Drilling Company due to its long history is important for us to dig and complete oil and gas wells on land and at sea.”
