Iranian Athletes Claim More Medals at Paralympics 2020
Amiri Adds 10th Gold to Iran Medal Tally in Javelin Throwing
TEHRAN – Hamed Amiri from Iran won the country’s 10th gold medal in the 2020 Paralympic Games on Friday.
He seized the gold in the Men’s Javelin - F53 with a throw of 31.35 meters.
Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC)’s Aleksei Kuzentsov won the silver with a throw of 31.19 and USA’s Justin Phongsavan took the bronze with 31.09 meters.
