TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The World Tourism Day is slated to be held in Uraman Takht City in Sarvabad County in Kurdistan Province.
The event will be held on September 30, 2021 in the presence of cultural officials of the city, observing health protocols.
Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kurdistan told the media that most of the villages of Sarvabad have the potential to become a tourist destination in the country due to the rich culture, stepped architecture, and beautiful nature.
Since 1980, the United Nations World Tourism Organization celebrates World Tourism Day as international celebrations on September 27.
