Olad Adds Fifth Gold to Iran’s Tally
Mahdi Olad from Iran won a gold medal in the F11 Shot Put at the 2020 Paralympic Games on Monday.
Olad threw a best of 14.43 meters for gold, holding off Brazilian Alessandro Rodrigo da Silva and Oney Tapia of Italy, who won silver and bronze.
It was Iran’s fifth gold medal in the 2020 Paralympic Games.
