TEHRAN -- A senior member of the Iranian parliament said Sunday the previous framework used to conduct multilateral negotiations in the Austrian capital for the revival of Iran’s nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was flawed and the talks must continue on a new platform.
“The negotiations must continue in a way as to pursuetotal removal of sanctions imposed on Iran followed by verification of their removal,” Vahid Jalalzadeh, who heads the parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said.
