TEHRAN (Shana) – The CEO of Tondgouyan Petrochemical Plant Reza Ghasemi Shahri has said his company was about to launch a new production line.
Shahri said,”Due to the efforts of employees, workers and executives of this complex and increase production, we do not need to import polyethylene terephthalate products and grades anymore.”
He said over the course of the past two years, dozens of projects have been implemented in the company including localization of the manufacturing of its air compressors.
He said last calendar year (which ended on March 20) the company realized 87% of its production plan; a figure which is expected to reach 95% in the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.
“We plan to fully materialize our production plan by 2022,” he said.
