Tehranis Create Recycled Sculptures
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- sculptures created by Iranian artists with the use of recycled and processed materials are on display in Tehran.
The Recycling Park located in southern Tehran hosts animal sculptures made of household waste including dry waste and disposable materials.
The construction of the park is considered as an initiative to raise awareness of the environment and the need to recycle household waste.
The abundant production of waste has turned into a headache in today’s life. Failure to produce less waste and not finding an efficient way to recycle waste has caused great damages to the environment worldwide.
The park is named ‘Bazyaft’ in Persian which literally means ‘recycling’.
