Iran Rolls Out Several Energy Projects
TEHRAN - Several infrastructural of oil, water supply, water treatment plants, dam and power projects were inaugurated in the provinces of Mazandaran, Hormuzgan, Sistan and Balouchestan, Ardebil, and Fars.
The projects launched on Saturday in a ceremony attended by President Hassan Rouhani through video conference, were implemented by Ministry of Energy throughout the country.
Speaking in the online inauguration event, Rouhani ordered the launch of water treatment plants and the water pipelines for Babol, Babolsar and four other cities and 57 villages inhabiting 600,000 people in north Iran and Khalkhal city in Ardabil Province in northwestern Iran.
As reported the projects are run by 23.82 billion rials ($95,000) of investments and include Wastewater treatment plants in Konarak, Sistan and Baluchestan province in southeast Iran and Houreh in Chaharmahal-Bakhtiyari province in western Iran.
