Iran’s ‘No Choice’ Takes Part at Belgian Event

TEHRAN (IFILM) --- Iranian feature ‘No Choice’ has been accepted into the competition program of the 36th annual Mons International Film Festival in Belgium.
In its eleventh international presence, the star-studded production will be screened at the Human Rights section of the Belgian fest.
‘No Choice’ is a movie on women and their issues in the society.
It has already taken part in various global events such as the 16th Thrissur International Film Festival in India, the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival in Japan, the 19th Pune International Film Festival in India, the Chennai International Film Fest in India, the 13th Bangalore International Film Festival in India, the Belgrade International Film Festival in Serbia, the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival in China, the 45th Hong Kong International Film Festival, and the Asiatica Film Festival in Italy, where it won Best Film, Best Audience, and Best NETPAC awards.
The film is starring Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Negar Javaheriyan, Parsa Pirouzfar, Maryam Boubani and Parivash Nazariyeh.
Iranian maestro Kayhan Kalhor has composed the soundtrack for ‘No Choice’.
According to the official website of the event, the Mons International Film Festival “aims to reveal and to promote films, authors and cultural identities from all the world to the professionals of cinema and to the public.”
The upcoming edition of the event will be held on July 9-16, 2021 in Belgium.
