‘Passport’ Participates at Spanish Festival
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The Under the Moon International Film Festival (Islantilla Cinefórum) in Spain has been set to screen Iranian short flick ‘Passport’.
Directed by Kousha Afrasiabi, the 13-minute film will compete at the 2021 edition of the Spanish event.
Written by Afrasiabi and Navid Siahtiri, ‘Passport’ is about an man who drives his truck in search of someone who will quietly bury him under a cherry tree after he commits suicide.
“Doctor returns to his office building after a few days off. But something strange is happening in that building,” reads the website of the Islantilla Cinefórum.
The cast list of the film includes Siavash Cheraghipour, Homayoun Ershadi, and Khatereh Hatami.
The Islantilla Cinefórum is a hub for film-lovers, inviting them to enjoy the most avant-garde audiovisual proposals in the best of settings on the beach.
It is an initiative promoted by the Mancomunidad de Islantilla in collaboration with various public and private entities.
Activities of the Islantilla Cinefórum take place during July and August to enjoy the night and the projections under the moonlight.
The 2021 edition of the Islantilla Cinefórum will kick off on July 3.
