ISTANBUL (Dispatches) – The foreign ministers of Iran, Turkey and Afghanistan held a trilateral meeting in Antalya on Sunday, stressing the need for active cooperation among the three countries to contribute to the peace process in Afghanistan and fight against terrorism in the region.
Iran’s Muhammad Javad Zarif, Turkey’s Mevlut Cavusoglu, and Afghanistan’s Muhammad Hanif Atmar also agreed on plans for transportation cooperation with Afghanistan by using the corridors passing through Iran and for the expansion of economic cooperation.
