TEHRAN (Dispatches) – The number of patients who have died of the coronavirus infection in Iran over the past 24 hours dropped to 163 on Wednesday, the lowest death toll since April 9.
Health Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari put the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 79,219. She said the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country surpassed 2,865,800 following the detection of 10,468 new cases.
