Milan, Juve Secure Champions League Spots

ROME (Dispatches) - The race for the Champions League in Serie A came to an end, as Juventus joined AC Milan to move into the prestigious competition, knocking out Napoli.
Inter Milan and Atalanta had secured Champions League spots before the matchday, with Milan, Napoli, and Juve vying for the last two tickets. The trio was locked together going into the final round, as Napoli was level Milan on 76 points, one point ahead of Juve.
The Old Lady needed to beat Bologna in the final battle and hope either Milan or Napoli fail to wrap up all three points.
Juve was 3-0 up in the first half at Dall’Ara stadium, and Alvaro Morata bagged his second after the break, Riccardo Orsolini scored a consolation goal for the home side.

Ronaldo Top Serie A Scorer

Cristiano Ronaldo made more history on Sunday becoming the first player to finish the season as top scorer in three major leagues -- England, Spain, and Italy.
The 36-year-old scored 29 goals this campaign, five more than second-placed Belgian Romelu Lukaku for champions Inter Milan.
The Portuguese striker was top scorer in England with Manchester United in 2008, and three times in Spain with Real Madird, 2011, 2014 and 2015.
But it is the first time in three seasons the former five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored the most goals.
Ronaldo scored 21 goals in his first season after joining in 2018 and 31 last campaign when he finished behind Lazio’s Ciro Immobile’s 36.
