Only ‘Muhammadan Accord’ can Unify Islamic Ummah

Now with the complete failure of the so-called ‘Abraham Accord’ through which the thug Donald Trump had forced some Persian Gulf Arab states to set up unnatural ties with the illegal Zionist entity, which has turned Palestine into a vast killing field and is desecrating the sanctity of Islam’s former qibla, the al-Aqsa Mosque, let Muslim countries get together to establish the ‘Muhammadan Accord’ in order to remove the trivial differences of the Ummah, including the status of the holy cities of Mecca and Medina and rebuilding the Sacred al-Baqi Cemetery.
It is good to hear the change of tone from Saudi Arabia towards the Islamic Republic and the response from Tehran for diplomacy to resolve the problems plaguing the region, such as the unwarranted war imposed on Yemen by Riyadh, but the first and foremost issue that needs to be immediately tackled is restoring Jannat al-Baqi to its former glory for pilgrims for Muslims from all over the world.
It is an undeniable fact that as long as this open wound which lies opposite the Prophet’s shrine is not healed, Islamic solidarity and the goal of world Muslims to liberate al-Aqsa and Palestine will remain nothing more than a dream.
The ‘Muhammadan Accord’ warrants adherence to the Sunnah and Seerah (practice and behaviour) of the Almighty’s Last and Greatest Messenger, and as Muslims, whatever schools of jurisprudence they follow, believe, it was the habit of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) to visit the Baqi Cemetery and
“Peace upon you, O abode of the faithful! God Willing, we will soon join you. O Allah, forgive the fellows of al-Baqi.”
Baqi is that sanctified graveyard in Medina where repose in eternal peace the elite of Islam such as some of the prominent companions of the Prophet, his aunts, his uncle, the wives he had married during the last ten years of his life in order to break the taboos of the customs of Jahiliyya, and above all the members of his Immaculate Progeny, the Ahl al-Bayt, regarding whose pristine purity, God Almighty says in the holy Qur’an:
“Indeed Allah desires to keep away all impurity from you, O People of the Household (Ahl al-Bayt), and preserve you thoroughly purified.”
The most prominent personages of the Ahl al-Bayt resting in Baqi are four of his Twelve Infallible Heirs, that is, Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba, Imam Zain al-Abedin, Imam Mohammad al-Baqer, and Imam Ja’far as-Sadeq (peace upon them) – love and affections for whom is the most prominent feature of the Prophet’s Sunnah.
Till 1925 before the sacrilegious destruction of the Jannat al-Baqi by Wahhabi hordes, the most imposing mausoleum in this sacred Cemetery used to house the blessed tombs of these four direct descendants of the Prophet.
Thus, for the sake of the unity of the Islamic Ummah it is of vital necessity to rectify this wrong of recent history, and if Saudi Arabia lacks the funds and resources to rebuild Baqi, the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to do so, along with the restoration of that other sacred graveyard in Mecca, the Jannat al-Mowla, where rest in peace the Prophet’s loyal wife of 25 long years, Hazrat Khadija (peace upon her), his infant son Qassim, his uncle and guardian Abu Taleb and his grandfather, Abdul-Muttaleb (peace upon them).
Muslims from all over the world will surely welcome this move and will contribute to the rebuilding of other blessed Islamic spots in the two holy cities, such as the tomb of the Prophet’s uncle, the Martyr Hamza in Ohad.
Moreover, the ‘Muhammadan Accord’ is the only viable solution to the problems of the Muslim World, including the unwarranted war in Yemen, the issue of terrorism, the US occupation of Afghanistan and the Zionist Usurpation of Palestine and Bayt al-Moqaddas.
Are the Saudis ready to give diplomacy a chance to ensure the peace and progress of the region, as well as the entire Muslim World, where there is no need for any foreign forces?
