IME Weekly Trade Hits $400mn

TEHRANN (Dispatches) – Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Sunday reported that over 631,879 tonnes of commodities with a total value of $400 million were traded in domestic trading and export halls in the past week.
The report said that over 232,884 tonnes of mineral and industrial commodities including 191,824 tonnes of steel, 6,880 tonnes of copper, 660 tonnes of aluminum, 120 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 33,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 400 tonnes of coke and 3kg of gold bars with total value of $207 million were traded in IME domestic and export halls last week.
And also, it added that 396,578 tonnes of various oil nad petrochemical products, including 203,300 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 64,162 tonnes of bitumen, 55,680 tonnes of polymeric products, 28,984 tonnes of chemicals, 40,500 tonnes of lube cut, 1,927 tonnes of base oil, 150 tonnes of insulation, 500 tonnes of slop wax, 80 tonnes of argon and 1,000 tonnes of sulfur with total value of $193 million were tradedin IME halls in the last week.
Also, on its side market, the IME saw trade of 2,417 tonnes of various commodities.
