Iran Army Commander: Zionist Regime’s Decline Evident

TEHRAN (Dispatches) – There is rising evidence pointing to the Zionist regime downfall, thanks to the growth of the resistance forces, Iranian Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi said.
Addressing the induction ceremony of the new commander of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base, held in Tehran on Monday, Major General Mousavi said, "Fortunately, the signs of downfall of the child-killing and illegitimate Zionist regime has become evident.”
There are also promising indications of a change in balance of power in favor of Palestine, he added.
These all show the truth of the prediction that the Zionist regime will not see the next 25 years, the commander stated.
He expressed hope that this trend of the regime’s downfall will accelerate and the oppressed people of Palestine will soon regain their usurped rights.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has stressed the necessity for unity among Palestinian groups and their continued fight against the Zionist regime, saying that in that case, the occupying regime will cease to exist in 25 years.
In a speech on Friday marking the International Quds Day, the Leader said the Zionist regime is not a country but a terrorist base against the people of Palestine and other Muslim nations.
"Since the first day, the Zionists turned the usurped Palestine into a terrorist base. Israel is not a country, rather it is a terrorist camp against the Palestinian nation and other Muslim nations,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
"Fighting against this despotic regime is fighting against oppression and terrorism. And this is a collective responsibility.”
The Leader voiced confidence that the downward movement of the Zionist regime has already started and "it will never stop”.
On Sunday, a senior advisor to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the issue of Palestine continues to be one of the top priorities of the Islamic Republic’s foreign policy, adding that Iran will continue to support Palestinians both in words and deeds.
Ali Akbar Velayati made the remarks during a webinar held by the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening to mark the International Quds Day.
"The issue of Palestine is still one of the [most] important and prioritized issues for the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Velayati said, adding that Iran shares the same trench with its "Palestinian brethren,” not only in political and diplomatic arenas, but also in the actual field of action and [anti-Zionist] resistance.
"Iran will stand with the Palestinian nation and resistance group until liberation of the al-Quds from occupation,” the Leader’s advisor said.
Velayati noted that "today, and pursuant to the efforts made by Palestinian resistance groups against the Zionist regime and due to security strategies used in the ‘field’ of struggle against this regime by the resistance front, the survival of this usurping regime is faced with serious challenges from within.”
He noted that the past defeats suffered by the Zionist regime in its wars against Lebanon and the Gaza Strip as well as its failure in Syria clearly prove correctness of a prediction by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution that "the Zionist regime will not see the next 25 years.”
