It had all the hallmarks of takfiri terrorism, and of course, of their principal backers the super terrorists who are intent upon depriving Afghanistan of any peace, progress, and prosperity.
The location in Kabul, the nature of the place targeted, the timing, and the prime target, all indicate the dirty work of the macabrely murderous Daesh outfit and the dastardly Americans who have brought these beasts to Afghanistan in thousands after their defeat in Syria and Iraq where they committed much more horrifying acts of terrorism on a vast scale.
At 4 p.m. in the Dasht-e Barchi locality of the Hazara Community on Saturday – the first day of the week – as jubilant schoolgirls streamed out of the Seyyed osh-Shohada School (named after Imam Husain [AS] the Immortal Martyr of Karbala), while parents and brothers waited outside to take them home in time for breaking of the day’s fast of the blessed month of Ramadhan, the enemies of Islam and humanity, triggered a massive bomb blast that was heard throughout the western part of the Afghan capital.
Suddenly, limbs, books, and bags were flying in all directions as the gate of the school, its outer wall, and the ground below were splattered with the blood of the unsuspecting victims.
According to the last count over 70 persons have been martyred and the figure is expected rise and many of the almost 200 injured are in critical condition.
So far Daesh has not claimed responsibility for its latest act of terrorism, but whether the American occupiers admit or not, the commanders of the CENTCOM are already toasting each other for the crime committed against humanity by their local agents.
The Afghan government has neither the expertise to go after the terrorists with iron resolve nor the political will to openly hold the US occupation forces responsible for aiding and abetting Daesh.
This means, this will not be the last act of the cowardly terrorists in targeting the hope of Afghanistan’s future, especially educated girls, as they had so brutally done in Syria and Iraq.
For the past three years, education centres in Afghanistan, especially of the Hazara Shi’a Muslim Persian-speaking community, have been the target of bloody attacks.
In October last year, a bomb blast at an education center in the same neighborhood as Saturday’s attack, had martyred some 30 people, again many of them students.
Last week these enemies of humanity had bombed a guest house for students and travelers in Logar Province at the time of Iftar, killing dozens of fasting Muslims.
So, what is the solution to this rampant terrorism plaguing Afghanistan, which the security forces and the US-trained army are incapable of eradicating?
The answer is obvious. Afghanistan needs formation of popular militias on the pattern of those in Syria and Iraq, which were instrumental in wiping out the Daesh much to the chagrin of the US.
The Afghan people have the potential for forming such a force as is evident by the heroics of the Fatemiyoun Brigades in Syria that scared the daylights out of Daesh.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, as the friendly and fraternal neighbour of Afghanistan, will indeed provide the necessary assistance in this regard to ensure peace and stability.
