Data: Iran Economy Grows 0.8% in 9 Months Despite Sanctions

TEHRAN (Dispatches) - Iran’s Statistics Center has announced that the country’s 9-month economic growth has been 0.8% despite the U.S. illegal sanctions and the pandemic restrictions.
Statistical figures indicate that Iran’s economic growth for (March 20- December 20, 2020) period was 0.8% with oil revenues taken into account.
The figures showed that the economic growth rate stood at 0.2% with oil revenues not being taken into account.
The agricultural crops witnessed an increase of 5.5%, the industry and mining sector rose by 3.7% while the service group decreased by -1.8% as compared to the same period last year.
