TEHRAN (Dispatches) – Iranian basketball players was overpowered by Taipei in final match and ranked second in the 5th Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championship.
 In qualifiers match, Taipei defeated Chinese team.

Iranian players also qualified to attend the World University 3x3 Basketball Championship.

The 5th Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championship was held in Taipei.

3x3 basketball is a form of the game played three a side on one hoop. It is the largest urban team sport of the world (ESSEC study commissioned by IOC).

This basketball discipline is currently being promoted and structured by FIBA, the sport's governing body.
