TEHRAN (Dispatches) - Executive Director of Khorasan Petrochemical Company Hossein Shafiepour has said that Khorasan Petrochemical Company exports value amounted to $62 million, which is 12 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.
He said that during this period, 468,000 tons of urea, 274,000 tons of ammonia and 18,800 tons of melamine were produced in the company. Production volumes exceeded the forecasted volumes by 8.2 percent, he noted.
This is a record for the petrochemical industry of Iran, he said.
Khorasan Petrochemical Company is located 17 kilometers from the administrative center of the North Khorasan province. The company has been operating since 1996.
