Egyptian Mediators Meet Hamas Leaders in Gaza
GAZA (Dispatches) – Palestinian Hamas movement's Chief Ismail Haniyeh and a number of Hamas officials met Monday with a high-profile Egyptian delegation in Gaza.
The delegation is headed by Ahmed Abdulkhaleq, who is in charge of Palestinian affairs files in the Egyptian Security Intelligence.
The delegation arrived in the Gaza Strip Monday afternoon and held a meeting with Hamas to continue their discussions on a possible truce with the Zionist regime and reconciliation with Fatah Party of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Hamas discussed with the senior delegation several issues, above all the cease-fire agreement with the regime and the Palestinian reconciliation.
