Palestinians, Zionist Regime to Resume Talks on Gaza

WEST BANK (Dispatches) – Palestinian and Zionist officials will resume indirect talks on the crisis in the beleaguered Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
The Egypt-brokered talks are set to resume in the Egyptian capital Cairo, officials said on Saturday.
"Egypt has invited Palestinian and Israeli delegations to resume talks in Cairo on September 24," a Palestinian official said.
The negotiations are said to be preceded by talks between the two main Palestinian factions of Fatah and Hamas.
The occupying regime’s recent war on Gaza ended on August 26 by an Egyptian-brokered truce, which took effect after Cairo negotiations. The deal stipulates the ease of Israel’s blockade as well as the provision of a guarantee that Palestinian demands will be met.
Zionist warplanes and tanks started pounding the blockaded enclave in early July, inflicting heavy losses on the Palestinian land.
Over 2,140 Palestinians, mostly civilians, including women, children and the elderly, were killed in the Israeli onslaught on Gaza. Around 11,000 others were injured.
