Iranian Actress Awarded At Greece International Film Festival
ATHENS (Dispatches)-Iranian female artist Mehraveh Sharifinia was granted the best actress award at Greece Bridges Peloponnesian International Film Festival.
Sharifinia was awarded for her role in ‘Wander About Me’ directed, and produced by Ghazaleh Soltani.
At the ceremony Sharifinia said: "It’s my pleasure to be awarded as the best actress for the movie "Wander about me” in Bridges Film Festival. And it’s good to have my prize in this women’s film festival.”
The movie is the story of a 30 years old girl Sayeh who in the middle of the big city is pursuing her dreams and ideals.
Bridges International Film Festival was established in 2008 in the framework of celebrations of 150 years of the foundation of Corinth.
Artists from Iran, France, Greece, the UK, Poland, Cyprus, the U.S. and other countries are taking part in the event underway in Greece.
