TEHRAN (FNA) - Representative of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Tehran Nazim Dabagh on Tuesday said that the Iraqi Kurds and the Baghdad government are in favor of Iran's mediation to resolve their problems.
"Given the good relations between Iran and Baghdad and the good ties between Tehran and Erbil, the Islamic Republic of Iran enjoys the capacity to play an effective role to resolve problems between Erbil and Baghdad since both sides trust Iran," Dabagh said.
He stressed Iran's positive role in the Middle East, and said an Iranian delegation is due to visit Erbil in the future.
