Zionist Regime: Amman Embassy Killer Has Diplomatic Immunity
AMMAN (Dispatches) – The Zionist regime’s Foreign Ministry says its embassy security guard, who killed two Jordanians in the city of Amman, has diplomatic immunity under the Vienna Convention in response to Jordan demanding an investigation.
The security man shot dead a Jordanian who allegedly attacked him with a screwdriver at the occupying regime’s embassy staff residence in Amman on Sunday and killed a second Jordanian.
The assailant was said to be delivering furniture to the building while the second victim was the property owner. The Zionist security guard only sustained light injuries in the incident.
Jordanian authorities have refused to allow the guard to leave the country and demanded an investigation into the deadly shooting.
The Zionist Foreign Ministry, however, claimed in a statement on Monday that the guard had "acted in self-defense" and had immunity from questioning and prosecution.
