Iranian Scientists Produce ‘Surprising Weapons’ for New War
TEHRAN -- The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Quds Force said on Wednesday the Resistance Front has received Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei’s message on “borderless” confrontation with the enemy.
In a post on social media, General Esmail Qa’ani said: “After the resolute message of the Guardian of the Muslims regarding borderless confrontation with the enemy, the men of the Resistance Front demonstrated the unity of all fronts by declaring in writing their full loyalty, showing that commanders have received and operationalized the message at the highest level.”
Separately, the representative of the Leader in the Ministry of Defense, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Ziaoddin Aqajanpour, said Iranian defense scientists have produced “surprising weapons” for a new war.
Speaking at a 13 Aban ceremony in Karaj, Aqajanpour said that Iran has “no geographical limitations” for targeting the enemy’s bank of targets, “whether in the region or outside it,” and that Iranian-produced missiles could reach targets beyond West Asia.
He said Iran had previously warned that it would “plow” the occupied territories and target all U.S. interests in the region if attacks continued, and that “you saw we did this.”
Aqajanpour also referred to last year’s 12-day war, describing an attack on the Shahid Chamran complex in Tehran, a Ministry of Defense residential site, saying rescue workers found dismembered bodies including infants.
