Report: Herzog Offered Netanyahu Pardon in Exchange for Retirement
OCCUPIED AL-QUDS (Dispatches) -- Israeli president Isaac Herzog reportedly offered terrorist prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu a full pardon in exchange for retiring from politics within two years, Channel 14 said on Thursday.
Herzog’s office denied the report as a “complete lie,” saying it never happened. The report comes as Israeli election results remain deadlocked, with neither camp able to secure a majority without Palestinian parties, which both sides refuse to include.
