Israel Strikes Southern Lebanon, Raids Syria’s Quneitra
BEIRUT (Dispatches) -- Israeli forces conducted airstrikes, artillery shelling and demolitions in southern Lebanon on Monday, hitting Kafr Tebnit, Beit Yahoun, Baraachit and Al-Mansouri, and firing on Wadi Beit Lif, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.
In southern Syria, Israeli troops shelled Tell Ahmar near Quneitra, raided al-Hurriya, Tal Krum and al-Ajraf with tanks, kidnapped two young men, and earlier uprooted olive trees in al-Hanout, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
